At AEM, we have been refurbishing tablet presses for over 20 years. When we refurbish a press in our 5000 square foot facility, we completely tear down the machine, inspecting all parts and working with the customer to determine their tolerance needs (OEM or otherwise). Then we sandblast and paint the machine with a selection of durable paints applied in our full size paint booth. Finally, we reassemble the machine with newly fabricated components, or at your request, cost saving used components. Options such as nickel plating, stainless steel enclosures, air operated clutches, and tablet counters are available to update your press to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
Because we manufacture tools, we can provide custom tooling for your unique application. With tool and die, machining, and welding (including cast iron) capablities on the premises, you can be sure there is no problem we cannot solve.
